Thanks to the recessed base, the BANDU Trough appears to float, giving it a graceful appearance.
Bamboo offers a sustainable element to your garden with a natural and timeless appearance and is becoming increasingly popular in garden design. Bamboo grows much faster than hardwoods. Tropical hardwood forests can take 60 to 120 years to regenerate after felling. In comparison, bamboo takes only 4 to 6 years. The plant regrows so quickly that it is necessary to cut it back regularly.

Product Care
Placement
Always position on a firm, level surface or the planter's weight will be unevenly distributed if the ground is not level resulting in stress damage.
Reinforcement ribs in the planter provide essential structural stability and help retain their shape.
Always provide enough space around the planter (at least 1 cm) to prevent moisture from becoming trapped near its surface.
Planting
Cover the bottom of the planter with 10 cm of hydro pellets. Place a permeable anti-root membrane over the drainage material and fill the membrane with soil suitable for your chosen plants.
Treatment
To help the bamboo retain its dark brown colour, treat it with a protector once a year. If left untreated, the bamboo will develop a natural grey colour, which will also look lovely in your garden. The variable pattern gives the planter character.

Delivery
How Will My Order be Delivered?
We will deliver your order using the fastest, safest, and most reliable method possible. Our delivery methods are listed on the product page as well as throughout the checkout process.
Riverhill Garden Supplies will select the appropriate dispatch method when you order based on your location and the product(s) that you have ordered.
Dispatch Methods
Parcel Delivery
Smaller products are delivered by parcel couriers, such as TNT and Parcelforce. Upon dispatch, we will notify you via email with the estimated day of delivery and forward you a tracking number.
Pallet Delivery
Larger products will be delivered by our own dedicated delivery drivers or by specialist carriers such as Palletways and ILS who will be given your contact details and instructed to book in delivery with you once your order reaches your local delivery depot.

Shipping Costs
We charge a flat rate of £20.00 for delivery to England, Wales and Central Scotland.
We charge a flat rate of £50.00 for delivery to England, Wales and Central Scotland if your order includes an ADEZZ product.
We are not able to offer a flat rate of £20.00 for delivery to East Central Scotland, North and North East Scotland, West Scotland, Norther Ireland, ROI, Skye, Orkney Isles, Outer Hebrides, Shetland Isles, Inner Hebrides, Isle of White, Isle of Man and the Channel Isles and a surcharge will apply. You can return your order up to 60 days after delivery
Please note that you are responsible for arranging the return of your order and for the costs of returning your order to us unless we have delivered the item to you in error. All return items must have original tags and packaging; and not been used or modified.

What if My Order Arrives Damaged?
Our goal is to make buying online with Southern Planters Ltd easy, safe and efficient. Although extremely rare items can arrive damaged and we are conscious of this, so it is important that you read the following.
Upon delivery, please carry out the following steps
- Remove the goods completely from their packaging
- Closely inspect the goods for damages or shortfalls
- Sign for the goods, accordingly, noting damages/shortfalls and refuse the goods
- Notify Southern Planters Ltd of any damages/shortfalls within 24 hours by telephoning the office on t 01732 522471. The office is open 7 days a week, from 8am to 10pm including Bank Holidays except Christmas Day. Providing that you have signed for the goods as damaged and refused the goods we will repeat and dispatch your order again or arrange a full refund
The courier is obliged to wait 15 minutes for you to carry out these checks if need be. No claim will be accepted if a clean signature is given. Any claim for damages/shortfall must be made within 24 hours.
